Tulip Poplar Tinder

The Tulip Poplar is plentiful in the southeast and along much of the east coast. It's a very recognizable tree because of it's height, bark pattern, straight trunk, and the lack of limbs until way on up there. The inner bark, which makes good tinder as show in the video below, also offers one of the best natural cordage sources that I am aware of around here.
