Native Plants of North Georgia

The University of Georgia has released a very handy mobile app called "Native Plants of North Georgia." According to the app page, the app includes"

"...a photograph and a brief plant description. The description contains the common name, scientific name, leaf description, flower description, habitat and plant uses (for historic perspective only). Plants are grouped according to their bloom times. A few native ferns and mosses are also included."

For those of you who, like me, maybe aren't quite up to date with mobile technology, there is also a .pdf available for download that is a wealth of plant information, specifically local to north Georgia, and free! It is available here, just click on the "Download .pdf" link.
