Riverside and Cooper's Furnace


Somehow, we are finding ourselves out at the river an awful lot this summer. It's a great way to escape the heat and humidity, and there's always something to do to keep the kids entertained. The reflection of the dam is visible in the water here.





I read somewhere that the Etowah River is home to many freshwater clams, but that is used to host dozens of species that have disappeared since the dam was built.
